People's Learning Trust - Everton College winners, by Mr Brown
Date: 12th Jun 2025 @ 8:07pm
Our football team were the winners of the first People’s Learning Trust Football event at the Everton College campus at Vauxhalls in Ellesmere Port.
The team won their group winning 2 and drawing 2 games, beating our link school from Swansea, Clwyd Primary in the semi-finals and going on to beat Meadow Primary in the final. The children were a credit to the school and made me proud not just for winning but for the way they played each game and supported each other.
Thank you so much to Jess, Craig and Joanne for the help with transport and our travelling supporters for their encouragement.

Date: 9th May 2025 @ 5:25pm
We had lots of fun learning outside today with Mr Hadfield.
We sorted animals using their criteria such as their features and habitats and also sorted them into different animal groups. We did a bug hunt looking under leaves, logs etc and made a shelter for an animal. We looked at the trees around our school grounds identifying the Hazel tree, Cherry, Maple, Roman and Oak from the shape of their leaves and from their bark.
We ended the afternoon session using dragon sneezers to create sparks and toasting marshmallows around the fire pit. A perfect end to the day!
